Perinatal Mental Health Team

Perinatal Mental Health Team are a specialist multi-disciplinary team providing care and treatment for women who live in Gloucestershire. To contact the team please ring 01452 894952.

You can also access a Perinatal Positivity short video, which uses the real voices and experiences of women and men who have had mental wellbeing difficulties around the time of pregnancy, childbirth and beyond.

A 24 hour, 7 day a week helpline

This helpline is now available for anyone in Gloucestershire experiencing mental health distress and needing urgent support or advice.

The service is available by ringing 0800 169 0398. The line is staffed by mental health professionals who can offer guidance and advice.

The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists

The Royal College has information for women with suspected or confirmed coronavirus who have recently given birth. The information includes advice on breastfeeding.
