How can I protect myself and others against COVID-19?

You can check the latest Government guidance and information about COVID-19 by visiting the Government website.

Our position

With the virus still circulating in our community, everyone is encouraged to move forward with caution. We must go on supporting, respecting and protecting each other in the actions and decisions we take.

Alongside other businesses and individuals in the county, the council will also be taking steps cautiously by asking staff to gradually return to the office, whilst harnessing many of the benefits demonstrated over the last two years of agile working.

We encourage visitors to wear a face covering if they’re not able to safely socially distance in our buildings, unless they are except.

Our Shire Hall reception is open but, to help us to maintain a safe environment for all, we ask that you only visit if you have an appointment. Visitors are not guaranteed that they will be able to speak to a specific staff member or service without pre-arranging their visit.

We also have a local plan for living safely with COVID-19 in Gloucestershire.
