Attend Ready for Reading and Writing training GCC+

Contact all receiving schools to get contact details for transition paperwork

Invite reception teacher/teaching assistant to meet and get to know children

Offer school readiness meetings for parents once school placements have been agreed

Select and share Resources for Parents to support delivery of curriculum

For children with additional needs in Summer Term 1 of their pre-school year, continue to review progress through Gloucestershire’s Graduated Pathway, consider SENIF and EYMDT, support where appropriate, attend SENCO Cluster Meetings, and explore ATS transition support referrals where additional transition planning is needed.
