Early Years Advice Line

The advice line will be staffed by an EY Lead Advisor and EY Advisor on a rota basis from 1.00pm till 6.00pm every Monday and Wednesday afternoon.

Queries can be made via phone during these times (01452 425959) or via email (EYSadviceline@gloucestershire.gov.uk) at any other time.   We aim to deal with all responses within a maximum of 10 working days.

The advice line will be the first contact for all enquiries from parents, providers and professionals and will enable us to triage requests and deal with them as efficiently as possible.   

This provision is to reduce the high volume of emails and telephone calls received by individual members of the EY Team and to provide a standardised, consistent response across the county.  We will use the data from this provision to identify any common themes or gaps to inform our future business planning.

Would you please therefore ensure that any generic enquiries you have, that you may previously have directed to individuals, are now sent through the Advice Line.
