Speech & Language Advice Line

As part of Gloucestershire County Council’s “Improving Early Outcomes” project, the Early Years’ Service has commissioned a qualified Speech & Language Therapist (Rebecca Skinner) to offer advice and support to EY providers when concerns about a child’s speech, language and communication development are first identified.

This provision is available to Early Years Providers only (childminders and staff working in EY settings). Before making a referral, it is expected that the EY Provider will discuss any concerns with the child’s Health Visitor to establish if they have identified similar concerns. 

EY S&L Support is available from 8.30am till 4.00pm every Wednesday
