Early Years Service Training

The Early Years Service offers a range of free and purchasable training courses. These courses are designed to support implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage and are delivered by the Local Authority Early Years Service team and colleagues. 

Booking training

All training must be booked via our online training system GCCPlus*. All Early Years Settings should already have a GCCPlus account through which you can book training. If you do not, you can request an account directly on the web page.

*The Childminder Pre-Registration Session can be booked by emailing eyservice@gloucestershire.gov.uk. 

Accessing the Courses

Currently, all training events are being held virtually on our training platform; 'GCCPlus Training'. Unlike GCCPlus, you will not have an account for GCCPlus Training until after you have signed up for a course. Once you have signed up, a member of the Early Years Team will contact you to with log in details to allow you to access the course.
