Children and Family Centres in Gloucestershire

There have been a number of changes to Children and Family centres in Gloucestershire.

We want to work with partners to ensure we prioritise support for and engagement with vulnerable families, so that we are there when they need us most. Following a consultation between January and April 2016, Gloucestershire County Council reshaped these services to the needs outlined in the results of the consultation.

What has changed?

There are now 16 council run Children and Families centres located in Gloucestershire. Families can also get support in their communities and homes without having to travel to these centres.

How can I get support?

To get support from a Children and Family centre, you will need to make a referral. Parents, children, families, professionals and carers can make a referral by visiting the Glosfamilies Directory website or by completing a request for service form.

Request for Service Form

Once a request for service form has been received it will be verified and sent to the most appropriate service to contact families to start support.
