How to make hanging ice scupltures
When on a walk or out and about why not pick up some interesting natural finds to create your own hanging ice sculpture. A feather, a smooth pebble, twigs, colourful flowers, they can all be frozen in water and hung up to create beautiful art work to hang from a tree or post. Then watch as it changes shape and colour as it melts away slowly.
Play doh making with Jigsaw
Try making your own play-doh today with Junior Volunteers Alice and Hannah. This activity is a fun way to practise mindfulness by promoting a therapeutic value, feeling calm and present in the moment. It is also a simple way to meet your child's sensory diet by stimulating the tactile system. Have fun getting your hands messy!
