Nurture Groups - Establishing a Nurture Group in your School

Course Overview

Nature groups provide a safe and nurturing learning environment where each child is valued, understood and has their emotional needs met appropriately.  They offer an experience of adults through which trust and confidence are built and learning begins to take place and have a foundation in attachment theory.

Cost:  £615 (to include lunch and all course materials)

Who is this course for? Any professional at primary or secondary level who wishes to develop their understanding of nurture groups.  We suggest that at least 2 members of staff attend this training, although this is not a compulsory requirement.


Course outcomes

  • Accreditation through the Nurture UK.
  • Knowledge of the theory and practice of nurture groups.
  • The skills to establish a nurture group in your school.
  • The ability to measure progress over time of children with emotional needs, including those placed in nurture groups.
