Course details

An accredited 3 day training course to support pupils at risk of exclusion.

Story Links is a parent partnership intervention to support vulnerable pupils at KS1 and 2. It uses therapeutic storywriting to support pupils' emotional well-being and reading skills.  The intervention involves pupils, parents and teachers in the co-creation of stories that address the pupils' social, emotional and mental health needs.

Evidence base

Research funded by the Training and Development Agency for Schools found that Story Links increased parental involvement in pupils' learning, improved behaviour, and supported reading skills.
