Just like everyone else children and young people with autism and learning disabilities can have difficulties with their mental health and may just need a little extra support from time to time.

On Your Mind

On Your Mind provides information about mental health issues and offers guidance on how to cope when you’re not feeling yourself. The site also offers links to other local support services that Young People can access if they’d like to.

Kooth

Kooth is an online service available for children and young people which provides helpful magazine articles on mental health and general wellbeing, discussion forums with other young people and an opportunity to chat with the team about what’s on their mind, if they want to.

Young Gloucestershire

Young Gloucestershire support young people in Gloucestershire in a variety of ways including mentoring and counselling, employment advice and developing links in their local community. The service is available for self-referral all you need to do is complete the form on their website.
