Pothole free road coming to Butterrow Hill

Butterrow Hill, Stroud will soon benefit from a brand new surface as part of the county council’s £150 million investment in Gloucestershire’s roads.

Highways crews will be resurfacing the road between the hours of 7am - 7pm for seven days from Wednesday 9 December to Thursday 17 December (excluding the weekend). A full road closure will be in place throughout the works.

Cllr Vernon Smith, cabinet member for highways, said: “We have scheduled this popular route for resurfacing as part of the county council’s ongoing £150 million investment. These vital improvements will create a smooth and pothole free journey for all road users. I would like to thank the local community for their patience while this essential work is carried out.”

Social distancing measures will be in place to help ensure our highways crews are safe at all times.
