UPDATE: Some of the restrictions on emailing have been lifted

We are pleased so say that we are now able to receive some external emails. Until we are completely confident that our servers are not at risk, external emails that include a link or an attachment will continue to be quarantined.

Emails from us are not affected by the block that is in place, so you should still receive contact from us in this way, although it may take slightly longer than normal. We will let you know when these issues are resolved.

BREAKING NEWS: New regional COVID testing centre in the county

The Department for Health and Social Care has confirmed the new testing site will begin testing from 5 June from Hempsted Meadow in Gloucester.

BREAKING NEWS: New regional COVID testing centre to operate at Hempsted Meadow Gloucester from 5 June.

Sarah Scott, Chair of the county’s Strategic Coordinating Group and Director of Public Health said: “This is fantastic news. Being able to test significantly more people each day is a huge step forward in managing future spread of C-19 in the county and beyond.

“From the start of this outbreak we have worked closely with partners across the county, regional and nationally.  It’s these strong working relationships that helped secure this centre for the county. Thank you to all involved.”

More information on how and when to get tested is available on NHS website.
