UPDATE: Some of the restrictions on emailing have been lifted

We are pleased so say that we are now able to receive some external emails. Until we are completely confident that our servers are not at risk, external emails that include a link or an attachment will continue to be quarantined.  

Emails from us are not affected by the block that is in place, so you should still receive contact from us in this way, although it may take slightly longer than normal. We will let you know when these issues are resolved.

Following yesterday's announcement regarding the home care provider going into Liquidation, Cllr Dorcas Binns has offered reassurance to residents.

Cllr Dorcas Binns, cabinet member for older people at Gloucestershire County Council, said: "We were contacted yesterday by the Care Quality Commission about one of our providers being put into liquidation by their holding company.

"We're one of a few councils, including neighbouring Worcestershire and Oxfordshire, affected by this decision and we have worked quickly with our partners to keep services available.

"Our priority is the health and wellbeing of the people that depend on the service and can reassure residents that no-one will go without care they need during this time."
