Gloucestershire County Council statement regarding Cleeve Link

Following yesterday's announcement regarding the home care provider going into Liquidation, Cllr Dorcas Binns has offered reassurance to residents.

Cllr Dorcas Binns, cabinet member for older people at Gloucestershire County Council, said: "We were contacted yesterday by the Care Quality Commission about one of our providers being put into liquidation by their holding company.

"We're one of a few councils, including neighbouring Worcestershire and Oxfordshire, affected by this decision and we have worked quickly with our partners to keep services available.

"Our priority is the health and wellbeing of the people that depend on the service and can reassure residents that no-one will go without care they need during this time."
