UPDATE: Some of the restrictions on emailing have been lifted

We are pleased so say that we are now able to receive some external emails. Until we are completely confident that our servers are not at risk, external emails that include a link or an attachment will continue to be quarantined.

Emails from us are not affected by the block that is in place, so you should still receive contact from us in this way, although it may take slightly longer than normal. We will let you know when these issues are resolved.

If you need us urgently, please call us.

Resurfacing to take place in Eastington

Work will shortly be taking place on the A419 during daytime closures.

The road has reached the end of its life and now needs to be resurfaced. It will be closed between 10th to 26th April, from 7am to 5.30pm.

Almost the entire length of Spring Hill from the junction with Bath Road to just short of the roundabout at A419 will be resurfaced. Work will start at the north end (near the A419 roundabout) and progress southwards toward Eastington Village.

The road will be reopened for the bank holidays and the weekends, except for Sunday 23 April when the Eastington roundabout outside the village shop will be resurfaced.

Access for residents and businesses will be maintained as long as it is safe.

People may need to allow extra time for their journeys, although only three days of the scheme will coincide with school term time (23 to 26 April).

Diversions will be clearly signposted.
