UPDATE: Some of the restrictions on emailing have been lifted

We are pleased so say that we are now able to receive some external emails. Until we are completely confident that our servers are not at risk, external emails that include a link or an attachment will continue to be quarantined.

Emails from us are not affected by the block that is in place, so you should still receive contact from us in this way, although it may take slightly longer than normal. We will let you know when these issues are resolved.

World Social Work Day is celebrated around the world on 20th March 2018. From Parliament to the United Nations, social workers worldwide stand together to celebrate their profession and raise awareness of the contributions social workers make in their communities.

We want to say a big THANK YOU to all of our social workers and support workers, in Adult Social Care and Children’s Social Care who make a difference every day in their local communities.

Get involved in World Social Work Day:

  • Find out more about careers in social work on our jobs page LINK
  • Follow our principal social workers on Twitter @PSWJess and @PSWRob and follow the hashtag #WSWD18
  • Watch and share this video from the British Association of Social Workers (BASW) to say thank you.
