A new road surface for Hartpury

As part of the county council’s £150m investment in Gloucestershire’s roads; A417 Gloucester Road, Hartpury will be resurfaced overnight between 7 and 14 March.

In total, the resurfacing will take six nights to complete.

To help minimise disruption, the road will be closed between 7pm – 7am (excluding weekends).

An official diversion route, suitable for all vehicles will be signposted.

Your highways crews will complete vital resurfacing works along the 8,939 square metres stretch of road with 1,051 tonnes of material.

Cllr Vernon Smith, cabinet member for highways, said: “We know that investment and improvements on our roads is a priority for the people of Gloucestershire. By carrying out the resurfacing overnight we will keep disruption to a minimum. I’d like to thank residents and road users for their patience whilst we carry out this essential work.”
