UPDATE: Restrictions on emails have been lifted

We now have sufficient confidence our systems and servers have not been affected by the recent cyber attack on our ICT provider, Sopra Steria, that we have lifted the block on external emails.

As you would expect, there are a large number of emails that have been quarantine but work is well under way to release them and should be completed by the end of tomorrow (Friday).

Thank you for your patience and support whilst we have worked to safely resolve the situation.

The Q&A session will take place on Thursday 7 May on our YouTube channel and can be accessed here: https://youtu.be/0xZK7GI-Z3M

It will feature Gloucestershire’s director of public health Sarah Scott, Gloucestershire County Council leader Cllr Mark Hawthorne and the county council’s chief executive Pete Bungard.

The session will start at 11.15am and will last for up to an hour. It will begin with a short presentation responding to the pre-submitted questions and following this, people will have the chance to ask further questions.

If you have a question you would like to put to the panel, it needs to be emailed to DemocraticServices@gloucestershire.gov.uk by 2pm on Tuesday 5 May. It can be about anything relating to coronavirus.

We will try to respond to as many as possible and the FAQs page on our website - www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/covid-19-information-and-advice/covid-19-frequently-asked-questions/ - will be updated afterwards to answer any others the panel was unable to get to.
