To secure your place visit and enter via the regional festival. You will need an adult (18 or over) to enter and your group must be a minimum of two people. Solo artists are encouraged to join forces with fellow young musicians to present a duo or larger band.

Cllr Richard Boyles, cabinet member for children and young people at Gloucestershire County Council said: “The rewards of participating in Music for Youth are fantastic. Everyone who performs in our regional festival are invited to attend the National Festival in Birmingham.

“Talented groups will even get the chance to perform at Birmingham Music Conservatoire and the impressive Symphony Hall. Previously, some bands have gone on to perform at the Royal Albert Hall and the Brit School for Performing Arts. Don’t miss your chance to become the next big thing in music and sign up now!”

This year’s regional Music for Youth festival returns to the Cheltenham Town Hall and attracts over 1,000 young performers each year.
