Swindon Road, Cirencester set to benefit from a little TLC

The A419 Swindon Road, Cirencester will be closed for one day on Wednesday 19th September for essential road maintenance work.

The road will be closed from the Kings Meadow roundabout to Preston Tollbar between 7:30am to 5pm.

The road maintenance work will include: 

  • ditch clearance
  • tree pruning
  • sign cleaning
  • pothole fixing
  • and gully clearing

The county council is committed to keeping Gloucestershire moving. On a regular basis your highways crews are out and about throughout the whole of the county inspecting the road conditions and fixing faults.

If you see any potholes please report them via this webpage: www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/reportit or call 08000 514 514. Urgent potholes will be temporary fixed within 24 hours, whilst less severe ones will be repaired within 28 days.
