Pottery at GRH school room

GRH school room pottery class is proving popular with long-term and recurrent pupils.
A range of techniques are used to produce coil pots, pinch pots and slab building – the latter involving rolling clay.
Pupils are able to use a variety of tools to create patterns in the clay they also learn how to attach handles to cups etc.
Working with clay is a great way to relax and help to destress, as well as enabling pupils to develop skills in the art of ceramics whilst exploring their own creativity..
