GSAB Strategic Plan
The Board’s Strategic Plan usually covers a three-year period, as recommended by the Care Act Statutory Guidance. However, as the GSAB Strategic Plan was due to end in April 2025 and the new GSAB Independent Chair started in June 2025, this has been extended to cover four years, to allow time for the new chair to consider the content of the new plan.
The GSAB Strategic Plan has three key priorities:
- To increase awareness and understanding of Adult Safeguarding among professionals and the public in Gloucestershire
- Prevention and Responding to Reports of Abuse and Neglect
- Learning and Continuous Improvement
