Data protection breach policy
The Community & Adult Care Directorate is responsible for large amounts of personal and sensitive data given to it by people who use services, and their carers. Every care is taken to protect personal data and to avoid a data protection breach. In the unlikely event of data being lost or shared inappropriately, it is imperative that the appropriate action is taken to minimise any associated risk as soon as possible.
The County Council has an internal Corporate Data Protection Breach Policy; members of staff will be able to access the policy the link will not work for anyone outside of the County Council computer network.
