Post-Incident Support Policy November 2003
The Post Incident Support policy gives guidance to staff on the type and level of support available to staff and the procedures to be followed after an incident. The incident may take a variety of forms including physical abuse, verbal abuse and threats in a variety of forms. It also gives consideration to the needs of any service user involved in an incident.
Originally this policy has only been operational within Children's and Families services but following the revision it has now been extended to include all Social care services staff and service users.
