If your Blue Badge has expired or is due to expire between now and 30th September please reapply as a matter of priority.

The relaxation of the issuing of parking Penalty Charging Notices to individuals using a Blue Badge with an expiry date of 1st January 2020 onward will end on 30th September 2020.

Using an expired Blue Badge after this date could result in a Penalty Charge Notice.

This relaxation of enforcement against expired Blue Badges will continue until 30th September 2020. Please note that this applies to local authority parking and not private car parks.

  • AskSara is a website with a guide to help you to live independently longer.  The web page will ask you a few questions and then suggests equipment that might help.
  • The Gloucestershire Community Equipment Service  can help you find equipment for your home.
  •  Ssafa  provide lifelong support to those who are serving or have served in the British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Marines or the Royal Air Force, and to their families. 
  • If you need to carry out minor works or jobs around your home, these local organisations offer affordable and practical help; British Red Cross – loan of equipment and help with independent living, Age UK – domestic services and help with independent living.
