How to pay a PCN

You can pay online

Payment online is the most efficient method of payment

We offer a discounted rate for prompt payment of PCNs. If you intend to appeal, please don't make or send payment. A payment will close the case down and you will no longer be able to appeal.

If you receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN), please choose from the options below for more information on how to pay.

When should I pay my penalty?

Payments must be made within 28 days of the notice being given to prevent further actions being taken. In some circumstances the fine is reduced if payment is made within 14 days for on street parking Penalty Charge Notices (PCN). This will be outlined on the PCN that you receive.

Please note that and PCN issued on or after 31st May 2022, you now have 21 days to pay at a reduced amount for a PCN that has been issued by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), i.e. by CCTV car or in a bus lane.

If you have lost your Penalty Charge Number (PCN) and want to make payment please contact the parking team by emailing  and provide your vehicle registration number, the date and time and the location where the ticket was issued.
