Road Condition or layout
Details of concern:
Report a pothole
Any issues affecting the state of the road, such as potholes or overgrown vegetation, should be reported directly to the highways authority to enable the issue to be recorded and dealt with in a timely manner via the Report It page.
Request improvements or changes to a junction
The Road Safety Data Team regularly review the collision data from the police to determine the junctions and roads, which would benefit most if improved. In the first instance please contact your local councillor, parish or town council who is in regular contact with the highways authority.
Report concerns relating to a new development
The planning process should ensure that safety concerns are highlighted at the design stage and measures introduced to ensure that the layout performs safely. The developer will be responsible for ensuring that the layout is safe. For more information please visit the county council's planning and environment page.
Report concerns relating to the existing highway
The road safety collision and camera map is updated with the injury collisions received from the police. For specific concerns please contact your local councillor, parish or town council who is in regular contact with the highway authority.
