Air quality monitoring dashboard
This report can be used to view and analyse nitrogen dioxide levels at the monitoring sites across the six districts in Gloucestershire. Please note, data is presented as an annual average and for nitrogen dioxide only. Nitrogen dioxide can be harmful to health in concentrations above recommended limits. Current WHO air quality guidelines levels for nitrogen dioxide are set at 10 ugm-3, this is significantly lower than the previous target of 40 ugm-3, the current UK target is set at 40 ugm-3.
We are looking to incorporate monthly data, alongside further air quality pollutants such as particulate matter in the near future where districts have this available. Additionally, monitoring sites change location which may result in gaps in data. If you have any queries, please contact glosclimate@gloucestershire.gov.uk.
