The 2020 Mid-Year Population Estimates at district and county level have been published by the Office for National Statistics. The population of Gloucestershire was estimated to be around 640,650 in 2020, representing a rise of approximately 3,580 people since 2019. This is the equivalent to a growth of 0.56% in population from 2019 to 2020, which is slightly higher than the England and Wales growth of 0.47%.
