Sam's experience in lockdown

Photograph of a pencil that has just been sharpened, a pencil sharpener and a school book

Hello, my name is Sam and this is my experience in lockdown

Hi, my name is Sam and I am a young pupil at a school in Gloucestershire.

Lockdown has been tough but I’ve been able to battle through it.

I think that the really hard parts are being motivated to do school work and not being able to see friends and family face to face.

I think that my school has done really well to handle the pandemic.

They will do things like send emails every day to cheer you up and there’s even sometimes a joke in there. I wake up and start work at about 7:30 am- 8:am and finish either 10 am, 11 am or 12pm, it just depends on how much work I’ve got to do. The reason I start so early is that so I am not stressed about work for the rest of day and that so I can relax after and play with my friends online. Honestly, this pandemic and lockdown has been a sad and tough time and I’m terribly sorry for those who lost family members or friends.

That was my life in lockdown.

Stay Safe
