Transport

Transport can account for around a fifth to a third of your carbon footprint. Reducing personal car use can be a huge way to cut emissions, find out about local bus routes

In rural areas bus services may be less frequent and so it is harder to reduce private car use. Car-pooling or sharing journeys can cut your emissions in half.
