  • Since 2020 over 60,000 trees have been planted by GCC
  • A combination of native and climate resilient tree species have been planted (Silver Birch, Wild Cherry, Common Hazel, Crab Apple, Elder, Grey Willow, Downy Birch, English Oak, Sessile Oak, Bird Cherry. A mix of Whips, Feathers and standards have been planted
  • Funding provided by the Forestry Commission, Woodland Trust and Gloucestershire County Council
  • Funding for an additional 50,000 trees is secured for planting in the 2022/23 planting season
  • Trees have been planted at over 40 sites
