Adopted minerals and waste local plans

The County Council adopted the Gloucestershire Waste Local Plan (2002-2012) in October 2004. However, a number of the policies contained in the plan have been replaced by the Waste Core Strategy (WCS) for Gloucestershire which was adopted by the County Council in November 2012. A number of the other policies in the Waste Local Plan are also no longer part of the local development plan under a direction issued by the Secretary of State in 2007. These other policies are described as ‘unsaved’. The adopted Gloucestershire Waste Local Plan (2002 – 2012) and details of the ‘saved’ and ‘unsaved’ Waste Local Plan Policies can be obtained below: -

Appendix 1 of the WCS sets out the policies of the Gloucestershire Waste Local Plan (2002 – 2012) that have been replaced by the Waste Core Strategy (WCS) for Gloucestershire from November 2012 onwards.
