Gloucestershire Youth Climate Group

Gloucestershire County Council and Creative Sustainability have revived the Gloucestershire Youth Climate Group, a group of 20 young people aged 16 – 25 from around Gloucestershire, who are passionate about climate change action and making a difference. The group represents the young people of the county and being a member gives them the opportunity to have their say on:

• what the county council will do to act on climate change;
• how we can encourage people to behave in a more sustainable way; and
• our climate change policy and action plan.
The climate panel are invited to speak at events and bring young people’s perspectives on climate change to the council, in addition to actively working with their local communities.
