We are currently completing site surveys with our agreed supplier after tendering via a framework. The meters and platform will be installed by September 30th 2021. There will potentially be cost savings of at least 10%.

There will also be a great platform to trial energy saving products which we can then roll out through the borough. We believe we can be an example for our area, showing how energy waste can be reduced and then trialling a host of new energy solutions, paving the way for others to follow suit.

Cheltenham Zero Waste Partnership
(case study 2)

Over 30 organisations have already pledged to support the borough in their ambitious target of reaching carbon neutrality by 2030. This partnership will provide an opportunity for everyone living, working in or visiting Cheltenham to do something positive to combat global warming and adapt to climate change.
