A pioneer and leader of sustainability in higher education and the region, the University of Gloucestershire has been committed to delivering on sustainability and tackling climate change for over 15 years.
It is a long-term priority across our academic activities, wider operations and as an anchor institution for Gloucestershire. Our outstanding performance has been recognised with a range of awards and commendations, including becoming the most sustainable university in the UK in 2019 (People & Planet league).
Our work aligns to the UN Global Goals (Sustainable Development Goals), as we are a UN Regional Centre of Expertise in sustainability education - a global network of university/community learning hubs in sustainability - and we are signatories to the tertiary sector SDG Accord.
