Biodiversity and highways

In order to implement our statutory duty to conserve biodiversity (Natural Environment & Rural Communities Act) we have produced Highways and Biodiversity Guidance which is a reference for all those involved with work on County roads and Public Rights of Way. In addition in partnership with the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust we have complied a register of important road verges for wildlife.
