The festive season can be a very difficult time for many, and sadly the risk of suicide can be greater at this time of year.

The 2gether NHS Trust has licensed the Stay Alive app (created by Grassroots Suicide Prevention) for use in Gloucestershire, and it’s free to download.

The app includes

  • quick access to UK national crisis support helplines,
  • a mini safety plan
  • strategies for staying safe
  • suicide bereavement resources
  • suicide myth-busting and more
