On the second day of Christmas...

On the second day of Christmas my council sent to me...

News of a flu jab and
Some car advice completely free

No-one wants to give or receive flu at Christmas time. For lots of people the flu jab is completely free and you can get it from your pharmacy or GP surgery.

The flu jab is free for:

  • Children from age 2 up to school year 4
  • Over 65s
  • People in long stay care facilities such are care homes
  • Pregnant women
  • People with certain long term health conditions
  • Carers and care workers

If you don’t fit into these categories but you’d still like to be protected from flu, you can buy a vaccine from many pharmacies.
