Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
With effect from 1st September 2024, local authorities (LAs) ceased operating as appropriate bodies (ABs).
Teaching School Hubs (TSHs) have now become the main provider of AB services. Therefore, please register any new ECTs joining your school with a TSH. Contact details for the local TSHs are shown below:

For any ECTs who are part-way through their induction and therefore did not complete their induction by the end of July 2024 with Gloucestershire LA, schools must register these ECTs with a TSH as their AB in order to complete their induction.
