Since 2003, after my headships, I have been supporting schools as an Education Consultant. I have worked in both Gloucestershire and Staffordshire as an External Adviser for HTPM and accredited School Improvement Partner.
I am also affiliated to a group of Education Consultants in Cheshire and receive regular training each term to keep up to speed with changes in OFSTED and DfE requirements.
I support schools both prior to, and after, OFSTED with working on their improvement strategies and help to clarify priorities. This involves giving guidance on the SEF and SDP as well as working with school leadership teams in monitoring the quality of teaching and how it impacts on learning.
I have been attached to over 12 schools, some for more than 5 years, and have built up trust and confidence over that time. I believe this is essential to be able to challenge and promote further improvement so that teaching standards continue to improve and all pupils make the progress of which they are capable.
I also offer schools support with data analysis to provide a clear view of the school's overall performance within then national picture.
