Profile

I have worked as a SENCO since 2005 in two different schools. I have the overall responsibility for all aspects of SEND. 

  • I enjoy working with teaching and support staff to improve outcomes for all children
  • I have experience of managing teaching assistants and supporting staff at all levels
  • I have had positive outcomes for supporting children with complex needs
  • I have been a Designated Teacher for Children in Care since 2010
  • I have an MEd in Inclusion and Diversity and attend training courses to keep up to date in current SEND practice

I can support schools in the following ways:

  • Support for new SENCOs
  • Advice/guidance on My Plan+ to EHCP process
  • Training for supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs
