I have been working in schools within Gloucestershire and Wiltshire in a senior leadership capacity since 2000. I am a specialist teacher in Literacy, Mathematics and Music. In addition, I also take a leading role in coaching and mentoring though TA training, staff induction, NQT induction and ITT. Assessment, both formative and summative, plus the use of AfL to inform teaching and learning is also a specialism. I utilise these skills in day to day teaching, staff development and through moderating KS2 writing for the county. I am experienced in teaching mixed aged classes including Y3-6. I am confidently able to identify groups of children and trends through data analysis and am committed to closing the gap for all children.
