School based courses
These are delivered for your own governing board. The sessions are 1½ or 2 hours long.
Some of the courses can also be delivered as a joint training session with partner school(s) - please contact Governor Services.
Training courses are held virtually or face to face.
How to arrange school-based training
To arrange a session, for your governing board, of up to 15 governors/associate members, please contact Governor Services. Staff may only attend if they are staff governors or associate members.

A trainer will be selected and will contact you to discuss the circumstances of the school and your specific requirements. If a more bespoke training session is required, an additional £60 charge will be incurred. A contract will be drawn up between the school and Governor Services and the school will be charged after the training session has taken place.

1.5-2 hour virtual course - £263
1.5-2 hour face to face course - £325
Cancellation charge
In the event of the school cancelling the session less than two weeks before the session date, Governor Services will charge the school the full amount.
