Personnel forms part of the SIMS suite, allowing the user to record, maintain and export Personnel data.
Personnel is part of the SIMS suite of software and is designed to enable schools/academies to maintain accurate staff records. This course will also assist users to identify and review the personnel data required to fulfill the requirements of the School Workforce Return.
Who should attend?
Administrators or bursars with responsibility of maintaining staff records including contract information.
How will I benefit?
- You will understand the importance of maintaining accurate staff records.
- You will appreciate how personnel data links with the other SIMS modules including Finance and School Workforce Census.
- You will be able to review and analyse staff records.
What will I learn?
By the end of the course, you should be able to:
- Apply the processes required to maintain accurate staff records including contracts.
- Complete staff training and absence records.
- Enter qualification data.
- Identify and review the personnel data required to fulfill the requirements of the School Workforce Return.
- Generate simple staff reports.
- Appreciate the links between Personnel and Cover (Secondary only)
- Manage the classroom staff area for employed staff and supply staff (Secondary only)
