Annex B: Year 11 and 13 Summer Curriculum

The operational guidance for schools was updated on 10 May and confirms that there is an expectation for schools to deliver curriculum for Year 11 and 13 to the end of the summer term.

 

The guidance gives flexibility for schools to deliver activities to suit their own pupils and does not need to be full-time. The offer could be a combination of remote provision, independent study, visits to education providers and attendance in person at school.

 

Suggested activities in the guidance are:

  • Curriculum catch up
  • Work to support transition to post 16 education
  • Support with training and pastoral needs
  • Developing study skills
