The Government is changing the way in which employers pay for Apprenticeship Training. This is known as the “Apprenticeship Levy” and it comes into force on 6th April 2017.
If you buy HR services from the Council you can access information on Schoolsnet or talk to an HR adviser (in line with the service you have purchased). In terms of calculating and paying the Levy, if applicable to you, this would normally be done by your payroll provider.
