Arctic Adventure - free event
Friday 1st December 2017 at The Crypt School, Podsmead Road, Gloucester, GL2 5AE.
Up to 12 pupils and 2 members of staff per school may attend for free, thanks to support from the climate change education charity Wicked Weather Watch. Deadline for bookings Wednesday 15th November 2017.
Come and join us (Sarah Shaw, a freelance dance consultant, Emma Espley, a part-time teacher, freelance consultant, Geography Champion with the Geographical Association and approved Global Learning Programme CPD provider, and Kathryn Minchew, a former MasterChef semi-finalist and now professional chef) for a fun-filled, creative day of learning!
Several curriculum areas (with a particular emphasis on the Key Stage 2 programmes of study for English, mathematics, science, geography, computing, dance, drama and D&T) will be visited throughout the day, in addition to the SMSC strand and values curriculum.
