Attendance Network Meetings for Schools and Academies - June 2022


We look forward to welcoming you to the summer Attendance Network Meeting for this academic year and would ideally like to meet the attendance officer and/or the member of SLT with responsibility for attendance in your school. We are offering two meetings for primary schools and academies and a dedicated afternoon for secondary schools, academies, special schools, and alternative provision schools.

To support impact, it is suggested one delegate will be a senior leader with strategic oversight for attendance and/or the school attendance officer.


The focus will be for schools and academies in Gloucestershire to receive local and national updates from Gloucestershire County Council in relation to supporting attendance. In addition, to provide an opportunity to share and develop effective practice to support improvements in attendance.


Registration and refreshments will be available 15 minutes before the event starts.


Primary: For all primary schools and academies

Thursday 9th June 2022 9:30am – 1:00 pm

Monday 13th June 2022 9:30am – 1:00 pm


Secondary: For all secondary schools and academies, special schools and alternative provision schools

Tuesday 14th June 2022 1:00pm – 4:30 pm
