Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) offers a CAMHS Practitioner Advice Line where they can support all professionals working with children. Practitioners can call the CAMHS Practitioner Advice Line on 01452 894272 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays

CAMHS can support all professionals working with children with:

  • Advising on whether the child/young person would be best being referred to CAMHS or another support option
  • Talking through and advising on coping strategies and resources which could support the child or young person

If you are a Trailblazer School, then please contact the YMM/Mental Health Support Team (YMM MHST) via your School Mental Health Leads as these sessions offer the opportunity to discuss a child or young person regarding mental health or emotional well being needs with a CAMHS practitioner who are available to discuss any individual questions or concerns schools may have as well as advising on how to best meet the child’s or young person’s needs.

Please contact 01452 895272 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
